Sunday Oct 28, 2018
Ajahn Brahm's talk given at Chui Huay Lim in Singapore on 14th June 2016, about "Unlocking the Secrets of Your Mind". The talk about the topic begins properly around 13 minutes into the recording.
Ajahn starts by talking about the nature of mind (which is not in the heart or brain, but that the brain and heart are in the mind). When we realise how big the mind is, we can then begin to unlock it, for our benefit for example, for our health. Ajahn also shares a story about a Thai monk who carries metal tool-kits into plane cabins relying solely on his prior meditation & chanting to prevent getting caught!

You let a few minutes of an annoying lady stop you from hearing the whole message? You know you could've just skipped ahead to when she's not talking anymore..

Don't care too much for this one due to the lady demanding people move and get herded around like candle, then whining about their seated positions to the AB there. Sorry, but it sounds pretty bad from this listeners pov. If people have the interest and respect to show up, you don't speak to them like they're spoiled children, you don't bark at them to move from positions they're in comfortably, and you don't tattle-tell on them to some "higher authority" to get what you want from them. I stopped listening as soon as she started that.
