Monday Sep 02, 2019
A talk given at the Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV), by Bhante Buddharakkhita. Please note there is another monk with the same name at the Buddhist Society of WA.
As the first Buddhist monk from Africa, Bhante feared receiving probing questions from immigration officers during his travels. As a child, he also feared swimming but made the effort to face the fear head on. Eventually he became a scuba diving instructor. Fear starts from birth and perpetuates through our life. Born into this world, we leave the comfort of our mother's womb into the unknown world. Over to you - What are your fears? How do you deal with them?
