When one is married then that is exactly like being a monk or nun in terms of everyone else except for your spouse. All others are off limits in terms of sexuality. Ajahn seems to think that monastic vows are stronger than lay vows. But just look at the evidence - there are certainly monks and nuns who are now married who first met as monastics. Even in his own monasteries! So this idea that monks and nuns don't view others that they meet as potential sexual partners is wrong. And that others don't see monks and nuns as potential sexual partners is also wrong, as can be seen by Ajahns story early in the podcast of his encounter outside of a cinema.
