Guided Meditation | Ajahn Brahm | 22 April 2023
Tuesday Apr 25, 2023
Tuesday Apr 25, 2023
Ajahn Brahm talks about lessening the five hindrances as that is one of the important purposes and also a requisite to success in meditation. Ajahn says "The five hindrances distorts perception and makes you see things in not the correct way and weakens the stillness of the mind". The main hindrances are wanting, and the opposite of wanting is to not wanting something. To get into some nice meditation, we learn how to be content and be at peace/be kind with whatever is happening even though it is not what you want.
