Please PLEASE be cautious about the suicide talk. Depression KILLS THE HOST! And it's grotesquely untreated due to stigmatization. "Being of sound mind and body" <---THIS! ...I'm sorry, but monks have a history of self-emolation, it's even admired in the community, and PLEASE don't speak on a psychiatric medicine topic. You're not a doctor Sir, *please*. Mental illness is SO stigmatized and please don't comment on being a soldier. I've been in a war. People sometimes kill themselves under the stress or snap and "sacrifice themselves for their team" when it wasn't necessary! Children try to kill themselves. I'm talking under 12 years old. There are totally HEALTHY people sick only in mind, who CAN be helped by medicine and contact but are too stigmatized and shamed by stoic, puritanical maniacs to get it, or too poor, or too socially isolated. Euthanasia in terminal patients comes by way of narcotic buildup in the blood stream. Sensitive topic but the exception is NEVER the rule for a reason. :)
