Ajahn Brahm challenges the very contemporary notion of ‘inter-connectedness’, pointing out that it hasn’t any basis in the teachings of the Buddha. Ajahn Brahm offers a very different perspective – that “connectedness” is basically the same thing as “attachment” from a Buddhist perspective. It’s not that “attachment” is “bad”, but rather that there is a time to attach and a time to let go.
